You are enough.
“You are enough. Today, tomorrow, and every day thereafter. You are perfectly adequate, without needing to change a single thing about yourself. This doesn’t mean that you aren’t allowed to want to grow, evolve or improve. It doesn’t mean you don’t have flaws. It means you are worthy of love. It means that you deserve to love yourself in spite of your imperfections. No matter who you are, where you’re from, or what you have been through, you are deserving of love. Be kind to yourself. You are only human. Forgive and let live. Let in the love.”

Spread love
“Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” - Mother Teresa
Here at Paper Letters of Love, we are constantly approached by people who are in awe of what we do, calling it selfless and thoughtful. These are the sweetest moments, when people recognize the hard work that goes into it. Being appreciated is one of the most wonderful feelings. Have you thought about how you can make somebody feel appreciated and loved? Have you thought about how you can make a stranger feel appreciated and loved?
How do you feel when a stranger walks by and smiles at you, or says Good Morning? It is unlikely you would feel unhappy about this, and all they did was smile or say a few words!
How do you feel when you check your mail for the day, and amongst the bills there is a package from a friend, or a postcard from overseas? Have you ever received something anonymously?
There are so many things that everybody can do to brighten somebody elses day, and some things take little time and effort.
I have recently moved into a new apartment within a complex, and while scary at first, I now say "hello!" to the neighbours I see often.
One evening, I was lucky enough to run into one of my neighbours who has the cutest little puppy (who almost licked my hand off!). I remembered that I had a book at home that is similar to a baby book, but for puppies, where you can track its growth and it also has a lot of information about stages of life and training and such. As I don't have a dog, I wrapped it up and placed it on her doorstep. She came to my door the next day over the moon that someone could think of something like that, and gave me chocolated. Hooray! Chocolate!
That took no effort, really, on my part, and it has made her so very happy. Now, my next step is to ask to play with her puppy someday :D
I have also recently moved into a new building for work, and again, I say hello to office staff I see regularly.
They may not be on my floor, and I don't need to have a whole conversation with them, but just saying "Hi! How are you today? It's so cold out!" can really brighten someones day.
I don't think it is possible to ever understand what other people are going through, particularly if they are a stranger. So why not just say hello, or give them something that will be treasured. It really can change their day around. And who wouldn't want that?

Thoughtful & Selfless .. .. ..
Wow! This arrived in the mail last night. A friend saw it, bought it and posted it to me because it reminded her of Paper Letters of Love.
Je t'aime means "I love you" in french, and of course the little envelope.
How beautiful and thoughtful!
Is it ironic that I am attempting to learn French also? :)

This is the story of a boy who meets a girl and falls in love.
There are moments in life when we feel a connection so deep words can hardly describe it. But how do we know that it's real? This is the story of a boy who meets a girl and falls in love.

Letters of Love
We have written about Eliza and Letters of Love before, but now she needs your help!
Letters of Love is similar but different to Paper Letters of Love, in that it is a penpal service. It deals with specific issues and enables people to have someone to talk to.
She has edited her website to be a group, or community if you will, and needs help from dedicated and loving people to monitor and weed out spam, as well as running the groups/forums.
If you think you can help her, please email to writelettersoflove@gmail.com - or read more on the site here

Holiday Letters of Love Feedback
Back in October, PLL recieved a request from a caring Granddaughter, asking for some love and hope to be sent to her ill Grandmother. You can read about it here
For the holidays, the team at PLL sent out some Holiday Letter of Love. We have just gotten our first feedback, from Megan, as a comment on the intial post::
"PLL-
My grandma received the holiday paper letters of love and called me right away. She and I cried in pure joy knowing that complete strangers thought enough about her to send MORE love to her. You are not strangers to her anymore, you are her angels.
I can't thank you enough for making this amazing woman smile again.
I am so grateful to you and I hope more people can perform such kind acts as you.
God bless,
Megan, MD"
Thank you for your feedback Megan. It is people like you that make the world a better place !
